Issues in replacing Cr-Mo steels and stainless steels with 9Cr-1Mo-V steel
2004
Abstract Issues are discussed that affect the development, installation, and operation of 9Cr–1Mo–V steel components in power boilers. Typical issues include chemistry effects, fabricability, weldability, fireside corrosion, steamside corrosion, aging, long-time creep, and damage accumulation.
