Statistical Evaluation of Alternative Models: Application to Ligand-Protein Binding'
1980
Abstract A new statistical procedure is described which permits the direct, quantitative comparison of alternative physical models for a set of experimental results. Its reliability is demonstrated through a computer simulation study, and its usefulness is illustrated in the analysis of nonlinear van't Hoff and Arrhenius plots for selected cases of steroid-protein binding and enzyme catalysis.
