Judicialización de los conflictos urbanos

This paper deals with the state intervention on an urban conflict related to access to land and housing that was developed in the La Plata party between 2006 and 2010. It is assumed that the conflicts expressed in the microsocial plane structural disputes over the use and appropriation of urban space. Hence, they constitute a fertile field to analyze the type of practices and concrete social relationships that are shaping the forms of production and consumption of urbanization. In turn, the social productivity of conflicts is analyzed through three dimensions: territorialization, the formation of public spaces and the local updating of law. Particularly, the third dimension seeks to account for how conflicts were reconfigured when they entered the legal sphere through judicialization, and how the strategies of the actors were modified in the other instances in which the conflict was processed from of your legal expectations.
