The invention discloses a preparation method of a ZnAl-LDO-coated Nb2O5 photocatalysis material. The preparation method takes Nb2O5.nH2O microspheres as a core, employs an in-situ growth method, and takes urea as a precipitating agent to obtain a ZnAl-LDH-coated Nb2O5.nH2O precursor, and the precursor is calcined at temperature of 400 DEG C to obtain the ZnAl-LDO-coated Nb2O5 photocatalysis material. According to the invention, LDO on the surface of the photocatalysis material can absorb an anionic dye, and makes up the detect that a single Nb2O5 catalyst cannot absorb the anionic dye under weak-acid, neutral and alkaline conditions, so that the anionic dye can be degraded under condition that a pH value is greater than 5, such as Congo red, and thereby, an application of the Nb2O5 catalyst can be developed.
