Teratoma and Mucinous Cystadenoma in Contralateral Ovaries in Postmenopausal Woman: A Case Report

Collision tumors are histologically distinct tumor without histological admixture in the same tissue or organ. They have been reported at various site including skin and thyroid. Collision tumor involving ovary is rare. Most common histological combination of collision tumor in ovary is co-existence of teratoma with mucinous tumor. The presence of these different tumors in the contralateral ovaries without any evidence of histological admixture is extremely rare. Here we report a case of benign cystic teratoma in one ovary and mucinous cystadenoma in other ovary in a 60-year-old postmenopausal woman which is not the usual age for occurrence of benign cystic teratoma.
