Fast multidetector time-of-flight neutron spectrometer

This paper describes a fast time-of-flight neutron spectrometer for studying the cross sections of neutron emission in (p,n), (d,n), and ({alpha},n) reactions. It can operate with four detectors at a time. Reliable and reproducible results are obtained after processing the data by a computer-controlled device with a reference measuring channel. The spectrometer resolution is improved both by upgrading the parameters of the detectors and the electronic circuits, and by extending the flight base.
