Design of a device for simultaneous measurement of heart sounds and electrical activity of the heart for educational purposes

This paper deals with the design and construction of a heart sound and ECG measuring device. The practical part also deals with the creation of a graphical user interface in MATLAB programming environment used for communication and control of the device. The user interface is designed for analysis of measured data.
