Radiative loss from a plasma with multiply charged ions under unsteady conditions in the T-10 tokamak
1984
Experimental results are reported on the change in the impurity emission intensity in the initial stage of electron-cyclotron heating of the plasma in the T-10 tokamak. An increase in the radiative loss not associated with an additional influx of impurities has been detected. A mechanism proposed to explain this effect is based on the assumption that the plasma velocity in the central zone increases as a result of local electron heating.
