A polarised high energy tagged photon beam

1983
Abstract An 80 GeV electron beam has been used to generate plane polarised photons by means of coherent bremsstrahlung in a silicon crystal. The photons are tagged in the energy range 25–70 GeV, and have been used in a photoproduction experiment at the Omega Spectrometer at CERN.
