Impact of EVM on Network Performance

The error vector magnitude (EVM) is a key metric of the quality of digital modulation in modern wireless communication systems, Based on the requirement of LTE transmitter test standard for EVM, this paper first analyzes the network performance of the single-antenna two-antenna antenna under two conditions of EVM5% and EVM8% deterioration under the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). Firstly, the impact of channel quality indicator(CQI) prediction error on system throughput is evaluated emphatically; Secondly, we study the effect of different EVM on bit error rate, block error rate and frame error rate of 64QAM at different rates under the EVM allowed when the peak rate is reached.And this paper redicts EVM standards for higher order modulation.
