This article discusses the importance of the teaching of human rights and education for peace from a critical perspective. Some categories of analysis, such as critical theory, human rights, education for peace and culture of peace are used for this; which allow discussion, strengthening and construction, between all participants in the education system; new educational stages aimed at experience, warranty and the full exercise of human rights in the framework of a culture of peace and a possible postconflict stage.
