Experiences in prevention and treatment of complications of laparoscopic common bile duct exploration

Objective: To investigate the prevention and treatment of complications of laparoscopic common bile duct exploration. Methods: The clinical data of 56 patients who underwent laparoscopic common bile duct exploration were retrospectively summarized. Results: The average hospital stay of 56 cases was 7d. Postoperative bile leak occured in 2 cases, hemobilia in 1 case and debris in 1 case. 56 cases recovered and left hospital. Conclusions: The operators of laparoscopic commnon bile duct exploration should have experience and skilled techniques, meanwhile, they should have strong sense of responsibility and manage any operative step patiently.
