Regional Difference in Quantitative Changes of Cultivated Land in Industry Upgrading of Jiangxi Province

Based on the data of 11 cities in Jiangxi province from 1995 to 2004,Jiangxi province can be divided into 3 types of regions,which are region of industrial structure unchanged and in the industrialization metaphase(region of Ⅰ type),region of upgrading from initial stage to metaphase of industrialization(region of Ⅱ type) and region of upgrading from developed agricultural economy stage to initial stage of industrialization(region of Ⅲ type).Then the regional difference in cultivated land changes is analyzed,the main conclusions are as follows: along with upgrading of industrial structure,the decreasing extent of cultivated land in quantity appears the trend of gradual reducing,the dependence of economic development on resource devotion is reducing,the effects of different industries on changes of cultivated land are falling,and the conversion benefits of cultivated land are increasing.
