Notice of Retraction Photocatalysis of TiO2 Films Coated on Indium-Tin Oxide Glass Surface for Acetic Acid

ITO (indium-tin oxide) conductive glass plate was used as a support of TiO 2 film. TiCl 4 was selected as a precursor to prepare the TiO 2 /ITO film coated through sol-gel process. Raman and SEM techniques were used for the characterization of the TiO 2 /ITO film. The photocatalytic activity was evaluated by the photocatalytic decomposition of acetic acid-the main pollutant in furfural wastewater. The influence of some parameters on the catalytic activity was investigated including heat-treated temperature, time and coating layers. It is found that the activity of TiO 2 /ITO is higher than that of equivalent TiO 2 nanopowders.
