A heat exchanger assembly for motor vehicles

2002
The invention relates to a heat exchanger arrangement for motor vehicles, in which the inlet and outlet connections (1, 2) having heat exchangers (3, 4, 5) in a frame (6) in the air flow direction of the cooling air (KL) are arranged one behind the other for successively of the cooling air (KL) to be perfused, said two longitudinal and two transverse walls (7, 8) comprising the frame (6) is stabilized by means of struts (9) and means for fastening the heat exchanger (3, 4, 5) with their collecting tanks (10) at attachment points (11) and support bearings (12) on opposite walls (7) for supporting the arrangement in the motor vehicle has. The heat exchanger assembly has been made suitable for use in commercial vehicles characterized and developed in that according to the invention the support bearing (12) to bulges (13) of the walls (7) are arranged and that created in the by the bulge (13) space (14) to arranged in one or more of the heat exchangers (3, 4, 5) belonging components or through the space (14) are passed and that the support bearing (12) on spars (70) of the motor vehicle frame are supported. Further, a suitable in particular for commercial vehicles inventive type of fastening of the heat exchanger (3, 4, 5) is proposed and a mounting of the fan hood (50), wherein the dowel-like plug (15) was used.
