바이오필릭 디자인 표현특성요소를 적용한 정신건강 트라우마센터 실내공간계획

At the moment that we are exposed to post-traumatic stress through various of accidents and disasters, the need of support center from the state level has been brought up about the mental health problems of the victim families those who were related in the Sewol ferry disaster. Post-traumatic stress disorder is a form of an extreme stress. The typical features of this disorder is that patients have problems in social life and dealing with people because they get extremely sensitive. If it gets worse, it could threaten one’s life and cause other anxiety disorders. Currently, there are related institutions in the country which are small-sized and progress consult-oriented programs. But the current situation caused shortage of systematic management, welfare support, various of healing programs to those people. In this study, it will suggest directions and suggestions of the interior space by using biophilic design of spatial elements for the psychological stability and protection to the patients, and various programs for the trauma center that will be built in the near future.
