Críticas ordinarias y sentido de la justicia en contextos de inmigración

2021
This article focuses on the analysis of expressions of ordinary criticism made by Latin American immigrants with regard to situations experienced within the framework of labor relations or when dealing with public authorities in Spain. This article presents examples of complaints lodged for actions deemed unjust by Latin American immigrants, the discursive forms that formulate said grievances and the conditions for potentially facilitating the dialogue of the parties involved, as well as the differing rationales and moral economies manifested according to context. The study highlights the contrast between public and private discourse and between immediate and hindsight judgments, focusing on how the reflective re-appropriation of facts through the reporting of events allows social agents to reestablish, temporarily and locally, their moral integrity.
