The images of sun and land are often noticed in the research fields of Ai-qing’s poems. In fact,the urban image have important value in Ai-qings poems which were written before 1949. By shaping the urban image ,Ai-qing reflected on the modern urban civilization multidimensional,and praised the character of advancement of the modern city while criticized its negative aspects. The thought and aesthetic value of urban image is particular if compared with other contemporary writers and the value of Ai-qing’s same subject poems which written after 1949 was not beyond it.
