Design of multi-channel signal acquisition system based on DSP and FPGA

This paper introduces a design of multi-channel signal acquisition system based on DSP and FPGA. It analyses the whole system architecture, hardware functional form, logic design and realization. The system using FPGA to control SAD7656 MQ AD convertor to finish collect and convert of the 12-channel analog signals. The system contains two DSPs, main DSP take the role of CPU and the assistant DSP is used for system monitor, together they could control FPGA. Test results indicate the system can realize the acquisition, process and transmission of analog signals, which can meet the requirements of design.
