Theory of NMR spectra in polymeric networks

1989
Abstract A theory of the NMR spectra in polymers is proposed that quantitatively describes the decay in the free induction over a wide temperature range. In this theory, the movements of the polymer chains are described by means of the Rouse model at high temperatures. Both the correlation times, τ c , characterizing the motion of the polymeric chain, and also the parameters of the polymeric network may be assessed from the NMR spectra.
