Electrochemical control of the complexation / expulsion processes of metallic cations by crown ether TTF derivatives

New crown tetrathiafulvalene derivatives have been synthesized, and one of them has been characterized by an X-ray structural determination. The complexing ability of these ligands towards metallic ions has been evaluated by FAB mass spectrometry.
