The Rice University Automated Sediment Analyser (RUASA) is a totally automated settling tube system which enables fast, reliable determination of size frequency (phi ) or settling velocity (psi ) distributions of sand and silt samples. Most important, it offers considerable flexibility with regard to sampling rates, data storage and editing, and post experiment data analysis.
