Orefield/deposit tectono-geochemical method for the localization and prognosis of concealed orebodies.

How to select effective ore-finding methods and achieve the localization and prognosis of concealed orebodies is currently one of difficult problems in the international geoscience community.Through over ten years of studies and practice at the Huize lead-zinc deposit,Maoping (Zhaotong) lead-zinc deposit and Yimen copper orefield in Yunnan and the Tongchang Cu-Au polymetallic orefield in Shaanxi,the tectono-geochemical research content for the localization and prognosis of concealed orebodies have been summarized and put forward,and the major features of the orefield/deposit tectono-geochemical method have been synthesized.It is thought that the ore deposit/orefield tectono-geochemical method is one of the effective methods of the localization and prognosis of structurally controlled concealed ore deposits.
