A method of analyzing an integrity of a particle filter

Disclosed is an analysis method of an integrity of a particulate filter (6) which is accommodated within an exhaust line (2) fitted to an internal combustion engine (1) of a motor vehicle. The analysis method is implemented during a stop of the motor vehicle. The method comprises a first phase which comprises at least a first thermal condition in step the internal combustion engine (1), then a second measurement step of stabilizing a pressure difference (DP) between a first pressure (P1 ) exhaust gas outlet upstream of the particulate filter (6) and a second pressure (P2) downstream of the outlet exhaust gas of the particulate filter (6) on a plurality of operating points, and a third step calculating a positioning measurements made with respect to the expected point for a particulate filter (6) integrates and a fourth step of deciding on a first question about integrity of the particle filter (6).
