Impact analysis on stability of mined-out area for thickness of overlying rock

Based on computation model established along strike of the orebody on the basis of occurrence of the orebody at Mofang ore member in Wengfu Phosphate Mine,distribution of horizontal stress and vertical stress in the mined-out area was calculated respectively under conditions of 60 m and 100 m in thickness of overlying rock by using finite element method,from which stability of the mined-out area is analyzed.
