Synthesis of 4-arylidenecyclohexane-1,3-diones from the Baylis-Hillman acetates

Abstract Synthesis of 4-arylidenecyclohexane-1,3-dione derivatives was carried out from the Baylis–Hillman acetates. The potential utility of the prepared compounds for the synthesis of cyclohexanedione oxime ether herbicides was examined.
