Tifoya bağli kolestatik hepatit: olgu sunumu Cholestatic hepatitis due to typhoid fever: case report

2012
Salmonellosis is an infectious disease that causes confusion in diagnosis because of its being a multisystem disease and appears in different clinical forms. Herein, we presented a 38 year old male who had dark urine and jaundice, admitted to hospital with abdominal pain. The final diagnosis was cholestatic hepatitis secondary to salmonellosis. Although cholestatic hepatitis is a rare complication of salmonellosis, we should keep it in mind in endemic regions like Turkey.
