Glucocorticoid use in children: The problems and solutions

Abstract Despite their deleterious effects, glucocorticoids (GCs) are commonly used in various disorders in the paediatric age group. Children on GC therapy need close monitoring for growth failure and other side effects. This article gives an overview about the problems associated with GC use and the present status on their solutions.
