O uso do cotidiano como estratégia para promover a aprendizagem do conteúdo de funções orgânicas oxigenadas.

2017
The present work sought to understand how the daily use associated with the concept of organic functions can help in the learning of the students of the 3rd year of High School of a Reference School of the city of Palmares in the state of Pernambuco. For that, a Didactic Sequence was used with the purpose of awakening in the students the interest in chemistry through the daily life, in which they could associate the scientific knowledge with their previous knowledge of Chemistry related to the organic functions oxygenated: alcohol, ether , Aldehyde, ketone, carboxylic acid, ester and phenol. To collect the data, a questionnaire was applied with the students before and after the Didactic Sequence; A semistructured interview with the chemistry teacher, as well as two activities with the students, one associated with daily life and the other not. The results indicate that the methodological approach with a focus on daily life, used in the school field of research, was favorable to the teaching-learning process of the content of oxygenated organic functions, in view of the activities developed during the research, it was found that the students achieved To identify organic functions more easily when they were associated with everyday situations than when only the structural formulas of the compounds were given. Thus, the research showed that the use of everyday in the teaching of Chemistry can serve as a tool to assist students in understanding the content of oxygenated organic functions, making Chemistry more interesting and less abstract, so that students can see the Importance of discipline in their lives and thus arouse interest in the study of it.
