Design of Automatic Arrangement Route Function Based on A* Search Algorithm

This paper mainly solves the problem of train arrangement route in the Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) system, and improves the efficiency of train route search. According to the train’s schedule, this module can automatically search for the route in the training plan and realize the arrangement of the target route according to the result of the interlocking logic check. In the design of the automatic route layout function of the ATS simulation system, we propose a heuristic search-improved A* search algorithm to realize the route search, which greatly improves the route search efficiency. Besides, this paper also completes the joint simulation of other subsystems of ATS and CBTC. The simulation results show that the designed ATS simulation system has reached the expected goal, has good applicability, and can provide ATS system teaching assistance to students of related majors.
