Evaluation of Prostate Cancer

Over the last decade the introduction of prostate specific antigen (PSA) testing and the increased awareness of prostate cancer as a significant public-health problem has resulted in an explosion of new information. In this chapter, a contemporary approach to prostate cancer screening, diagnosis, and staging is presented.
