The invention relates to an electrical fire early-warning method. The method includes the following steps: (A) the sound, ultraviolet radiation and arc signals of arc discharge are detected; (B) after being processed by a circuit, the signals are transmitted to a singlechip; (C) the signals are analyzed by the singlechip, and when signal values reach set early-warning values, an early-warning unit is controlled to emit early-warning signals. In addition, the invention also provides an electrical fire early-warning device, which comprises a power supply, a signal detection unit, the singlechip and the early-warning unit, wherein the power supply is connected with the singlechip, the signal detection unit and the early-warning unit; and the signal detection unit comprises an ultrasonic sensor, an ultraviolet sensor and an arc sensor. Since the electrical fire early-warning device adopts the ultrasonic sensor, the ultraviolet sensor and the arc sensor to detect arc discharge, not only can arc information be accurately captured, but also the interference of environmental noise and other light can be prevented, and thereby the accuracy of early warning is guaranteed.
