Effects of Humic Acid on Dry Matter Accumulation and Nutrient Utilization of Salvia Miltiorrhiza

2012
The differences in dry matter accumulation, absorption and utilization of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus of Salvia Miltiorrhiza Bge were analyzed under different application amount of humic acid by pot experiment. The results showed that the appropriate amount of humic acid could promote the accumulation and distribution of dry matter, increase the root/shoot ratio and yield of Salvia Miltiorrhiza. The application of humic acid could increase soil bulk density, but excess soil bulk density disadvantaged Salvia Miltiorrhiza growth. The soil bulk density within 1.262~1.265 g/cm3 advantaged Salvia Miltiorrhiza growth. The appropriate application of humic acid increased the contents of nitrogen and phosphorus in Salvia Miltiorrhiza root and shoot, but decreased the potassium content.Large amount of humic acid had a trend of increasing the potassium content.Appropriate amount of humic acid could increase the use efficiency of nitrogen and phosphorus and decrease that of potassium, but they were decreased by large amount of humic acid.
