The invention discloses a processing method of venenum bufonis. The method comprises the following specific steps of: grinding the venenum bufonis, carrying out reflux extraction for twice by ethyl alcohol, mixing the filtrate, concentrating the mixed filtrate until the specific gravity of the mixed filtrate is 1.05-1.30, and drying filter residue for standby application; weighing a certain amount of fresh milk, and putting the fresh milk into a refrigerator for 1-2 days at the temperature of 2-4 DEG C; taking out the fresh milk, and then adding papaya juice into the fresh milk, wherein the weight of the papaya juice is 2-3 times heavier than that of the fresh milk; evenly stirring, heating up to 50-60 DEG C by water bath, continuously stirring for 20-30min, and placing the product overnight to obtain papaya fresh milk; evenly mixing the prepared concentrated liquid and the papaya fresh milk, concentrating the product into thick paste, adding the dried medicine residue into the thick paste, evenly stirring and placing for 8-12h; and drying, grinding the dried product, and screening by a sieve with 60-80 meshes to obtain the processed venenum bufonis. The processing method effectively solves the problems that the processed venenum bufonis is poor in mouth feel, reduces the lasting bitter, numb tongue and irritation caused by the venenum bufonis, and is convenient to take by a patient.
