A Brief Study on College Admission Mode of Skill-based Gaokao

s:The year of 2011 in Hubei witnessed the new college admission mode of "skill-based Gaokao" for graduates from secondary vocational technology schools.This admission mode,which has been initiatively launched and implemented in Hubei Province,has played an essential role in guiding the tertiary education as an innovation in Gaokao reform in China.The key point of this mode is to grant the candidates the right to "Multiple-application for several colleges the same time." The present study finds that this new admission mode safeguard the benefits of the candidates,the meets the demand of education equity and also caters to The Outline of China's National Medium-and Long-Term Program for Education Reform and Development
