The application of laparoscope in traumatic acute abdomen(21 cases report).

Objective To investigate the value of the laparoscopic technique in the treatment of traumatic acute abdomen.Methods 21 patients with traumatic acute abdomen accepted the laparoscopic exploration and operations.Among them,liver rupture repair were performed in 4 cases;spleen rupture repair in 2 cases;splenectomy in 3 cases;gastric perforation repair in 2 cases;intestinal perforation repair in 2 cases;partial small intestine resection in 1 case;colonic mesenteric vessel ligation in 1 case;transverse colon repair in 1 case;exploration and drainage in 2 cases;3 cases were converted to open operations.Results All patients were cured.Post-operative complications;trocar incision infection occurred in 2 cases and 3 cases suffered abdominal fluid collection.The operative time was 30～250 min and the hospital stay was 7 to 28 days.Conclusion Laparoscpic technique is a safe and feasible method for the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic acute abdomen.But we should select indications strictly and decide promptly conversion according to the disease and ability.
