Method and system used for sorting goods

The invention provides a method and a system used for sorting goods. The system comprises a plurality of sorting containers, a sorting container support frame, a plurality of electronic tag reading devices, a scanning device, a control device and a plurality of indicating devices, wherein each sorting container is used for containing goods to be sorted by a client, and an electronic tag is attached to each sorting container; the sorting container support frame is used for supporting the sorting containers; each electronic tag reading device is used for automatically reading the identification information or the number, in the electronic tag, of the corresponding sorting container when the corresponding sorting container is put on the sorting container support frame and sending the read identification information or the number to the control device; the scanning device is used for scanning each goods or commodity and sending a scanned goods code to the control device; the control device is used for associating the sorting containers with an order when the identification information or the number of the sorting containers is received, and determining to trigger which of the indicating devices when the goods code is received; each indicating device is used for indicating the goods to be put in the corresponding sorting container.
