Chapter 5 – Interpreting Data and Demonstrating Reliability

This chapter deals with calculating inferences from random (constant failure rate) data. The chi-square method is explained for interpreting failure data and the cumulative Poisson curves used to model demonstration test plans. The use, and limitations, of zero-failures based inferences is explained.
