Research and application of radiation vulcanization of natural rubber latex

This paper described in detail the radiation vulcanization of natural rubber latex (RVNRL) in respect of its advantages, history, mechanism, process and main factors affecting the product quality. RVNRL will bring about great benefits to health care business and environment protection. To make it come true on an industrial scale, the processing cost must be reduced. RVNRL using EB can reduce the cost to an acceptable level compared to the chemical vulcanization process, and it is expected to have a promising future.
