MÉTODO PARA LOS ESTUDIOS DEL PERIURBANO: UNA EXPERIENCIA LATINOAMERICANA

2019
The Periurban is a dialectically peripheral space, derived, open, selective, discontinuous, fractioned, unstable and differentiated; an eccentric centrality. This simultaneity of spatial dimensions makes it difficult to adopt a method that captures its complexity and movement. The objective of this article is to provide some elements for methodical approach of abstract universal to singular concrete, in the dimensions developed by Marx and Sartre. Methodologically, this study considers: i) a theoretical-methodological proposal linked to the peri-urban ejido in Mexico; ii) the Genesis and process of the ejido as a global spatial formation-local, urban-rural, with its functions and power structure that suffers from changes, mutations and requalifications; iii) an approach to the essence of the periurban ejido, in search of the concretion of the phenomenon, through the conditions of existence of the Ejidatarios. It is a question of understanding the rural-urban transformations through a phenomenological and dialectical reading of Ejido and Ejidatario from the Mexican experience.
