CT diagnosis and clinic of renal cell carcinoma

2006
Objective:To explore the diagnostic and differential diagnostic value of CT features on renal cell carcinoma. Methods: The CT features of 36 cases with renal cell carcinoma were studied. All cases were confirmed by pathological examination of samples from surgical operation or biopsy. Results: The typical CT features of renal cell carcinoma were renal mass with different size. The most cases(32,91.66%) were slightly lower or equal density in our study, and the density was slightly higher was 4 cases(8.34%).The density of the tumors increased in different degree after enhancement, but the CT value as markedly lower than that of the normal renal parenchyma. The accurate rate of diagnosis was 94.44%.Conclusion: CT is a reliable technique for the early diagnosis, devising the operative and the treatment procedure.
