Rapid fault detection circuit based on pulse feedback

2014
The invention discloses a rapid fault detection circuit based on pulse feedback. The rapid fault detection circuit is used for detecting whether a power switch device in power electronic equipment and a driving loop of the power switch device fail or not. The rapid fault detection circuit is composed of an isolation feedback circuit, a signal conversion circuit and a comparison circuit. The isolation feedback circuit is used for detecting and feeding back the on-off state of the power switch device and compares the on-off state with PWM pulses sent out by the driving loop to determine whether the power switch device and the driving coop of the power switch device fail or not. Whether the power switch device in the power electronic equipment and the PWM driving loop of the power switch device fail or not can be rapidly and reliably detected through the rapid fault detection circuit, protection actions are performed in advance, and failure of the power switch device is reduced.
