Méningite à Streptococcus suis type II. A propos d'un cas

Summary A new case of type II S. suis infection is reported by the authors in a 17 years old apprentice butcher. This is a rare infection which very infrequently causes death, although it is often responsible for subsequent hearing problems. This infection is found mainly in subjects working with pigs.
