Model and applications of environment impact assessment of cascade hydropower development

Based on the evaluation index of impacts of hydropower development on ecological environment,the main influence factors are confirmed by the pair comparative method,the timing multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is established by the main influence factors.The model is a three-level evaluation system.The first level is the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation on single environment factor of single project;the second level is the evaluation on the impacts of total project in a small district;the third level is the evaluation on the general environment impacts.The model is applied to evaluate cascade hydroelectric development of the Niyang river basin in Tibet.
