Compatibility of Carbazochrome Sodium Sulfonate Injection and Cefonicid Sodium for Injection by Gradient-elution RP-HPLC

Objective To study the compatibility and stability of carbazochrome sodium sulfonate injection and cefpiramide sodium for injection in 0.9% sodium chloride injection(NS)at room temperature.Methods The content changes of carbazochrome sodium sulfonate and cefpiramide sodium in NS were determined simultaneously by gradient-elution RP-HPLC at serveral time points after mixing within 8 h,the appearance of mixing solution was observed and the pH value was determined.Results The appearance,pH value and contents of mixing solution had no obvious change within 8 h.Conclusion Carbazochrome sodium sulfonate injection and cefpiramide sodium for injection in NS could be used stability within 8 h at room temperature.
