Relay protection method for accelerated removal of dead zone faults of transformer based on open positions of circuit breakers
2014
The invention relates to a relay protection method for accelerated removal of dead zone faults of a transformer based on the open positions of circuit breakers. According to the method, in trip control of the dead zone faults of one side of the transformer, the following conditions are set, firstly, a spare trip protection outlet relay on the side of the transformer is in an action state or other electrical capacity trip protection outlet relays are in an action state; secondly, the A phase current or the B phase current or the C phase current of the side of the transformer reaches a starting value, or the zero-sequence current Io or the negative-sequence current I2 reaches the starting value; if both the conditions are met, a transformer differential trip protection main outlet loop is started after delay, and the circuit breakers on the sides for tripping off the transformer are started; if no condition is met, 0s is returned, and the transformer differential trip protection main outlet loop is disconnected. The relay protection method is simple in action principle, high in reliability, and capable of quickly removing the dead zone faults with different voltage classes and on all sides of the transformer.
