Application of the IWA Anaerobic Digestion Model (ADM1) for the valorization of maize residues in Morocco

The modeling of the natural biological process of anaerobicdigestion (AD) or methanization which is a metabolic process of fermenting the organic waste in a biogas reactor without oxygen. This study was done by using the anaerobic digestion model 1 (ADM1) under mesophilic temperature (35C), knowing that the mathematical and numerical modeling of this study is the main objective. This study was done with the intention of modeling and simulating the production of methane from the degradation of organic waste.
