The method comprises the steps that first, the head and the tail of each intermediate billet which is processed through rough rolling are cut flat with a shears, so that each intermediate billet has a flat head end face and a flat tail end face; then, the adjacent ends of two adjacent intermediate billets in the front and rear direction are made to be flushed with each other to form a lap joint area; at last, pressure plastic deformation connection is carried out on the lap joint area of the intermediate billets through a press and the die on the press, and therefore, the lap joint area of the two intermediate billets in the front and rear direction is in connection through severe plastic deformation engagement.
