Effects of finished product orthisis in residual abnormity of congenital muscular torticollis after operation

Objective:To evaluate the effect of regulatable torticollis orthisis on correcting postoperative malformation of congenital muscular torticollis.Methods:Regulatable torticollis orthisis include three size:small,medium and large.Each can be adjusted to fit to the patients better.We choosed twenty-five patients aged at 2-18 who had apparent postoperative malformation of congenital muscular torticollis to wear orthisis from 2 to 12 months,and we evaluated the effect during 1-2 year follow-up.Results:excellent(80%),good(16%),passable(4%).All the patients were cured without relapse during observing time.Conclusion:The regulatable torticollis orthisis is convenience and adjustable.It has definitely satisfied effect on correcting malformation of congenital muscular torticollis.
