Effect of Controlled-release Urea Application on N Uptake and Rice Yield

Using 15N-urea and the controlled release 15N-urea coated with organic-mineral materials as vested fertilizers,we investigated the effect of controlled release urea application on the N uptake and rice yield grown in the paddy field of chernozem. The results showed that the controlled release urea could increase urea-15N efficiency by 3.6419.92%,the soil residual N of urea-15N by 6.3720.86%, and the rice yield by 8.6625.70% as compared to urea.
